✨ Camping with Nuage: What to Expect ✨
Camp Nuage is a community-driven art car support camp guided by the Ten Principles of Burning Man. Everyone in our camp plays a role in making this experience meaningful and sustainable—for ourselves and for the larger playa community.
This is not a service camp. There are no staff, no paid workers, and no concierge. Everyone contributes. Here's what to expect:
✅ What To Do When You Arrive
- Find your assigned RV or tent slot — We'll have your space clearly marked when you arrive.
- Set up your gear and shelter — Radical Self-Reliance starts now.
- Plug into power — Each camp slot connects to our centralized generator via a labeled spider box. We'll match your RV slot with the right outlet.
- Get oriented — Meet your neighbors, get the lay of the land, and check the whiteboard near the lounge for daily camp updates.
🔄 Responsibilities During the Week
- MOOP Sweeps — Help keep the lounge and surrounding area free of Matter Out Of Place.
- RV Water Fill — Use the communal battery-powered pump to fill your fresh water tank when needed.
- Septic Service Flagging — Help flag down the septic truck on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
- Fuel Truck Flagging — We'll need help every ~4 days when the generator gets refueled.
- Fresh Water Tote Refill — Help flag down the delivery team and direct them to the communal water tote.
🚧 Nuage Art Car Protocol – In Progress
Nuage is still under construction. Once complete, we'll release the official protocol for:
- Transporting Nuage to and from the playa
- On-playa DJ set schedules
- Campmate roles during operation (driver, safety spotter, tech crew, etc.)
Every campmate will support Nuage in some way—we’ll rotate roles fairly.
🔥 We Live by the 10 Principles
